Full-Grain Cowhide Leather
We source full-grain, chrome-tanned cowhide leather for all Amalier bags from local tanneries based in Korea. Full-grain leather is made from the top layer of the hide and is the highest quality leather available, prized for its natural beauty and durability. We chose a chrome tanning process for our leather to enhance the flexibility, retain water and scratch resistance qualities, and provide a more supple feel.
Our tannery exclusively uses hides that are a by-product of the food industry and would otherwise go to waste. These hides are sourced from the US and undergo the tanning process in Korea.
